邪教具有反人类、反科学、反社会和反政府的邪恶本质,社会危害性极其严重。邪教的蔓延具有很多原因,其主观方面的原因主要是在群体潜意识和部分人精神空虚、缺乏信仰两个方面;客观方面主要是在经济文化落后、封建迷信、愚昧无知和宗教工作不力等多个方面。要有效预防邪教犯罪,必须要做好思想工作,加强党风建设,树立党的良好形象,加强防范和打击非法宗教活动。

Heresy features evil essence of anti humanity, anti- science, anti- society and anti- government, which seriously jeopardizes the society. Heresy sprawls for numerous reasons, involving subjective reasons and objective reasons, the former including the mass vacuous subconsciousness, some people's vacuous spirits and lack of religious beliefs, and the latter including backward economic and cultural development, feudalistic superstition, ignorance and ineffective religious work. Effective prevention of heresy crimes calls for our efforts to do excellent ideological work,enhance the Party's work styles, develop good Party's images, strengthen prevention and crack down on illegal religious activities.
