摘要
设计并开发出一种"纤芯双抛物折射率分布"的新型低损耗单模光纤。通过调整石英光纤中不同掺杂材料组分的分布从而控制光纤折射率分布,使该光纤具备较低的瑞利散射损耗。测试表明,采用该创新型结构研制的新型低损耗单模光纤其在1 310nm、1 550nm、1 625nm波长的衰减典型值分别为0.302dB/km、0.176dB/km、0.188dB/km。该光纤的关键技术指标达到当前国际先进水平与国际标准,该新技术产品有助于提升我国100G高速骨干网传输容量,降低光纤网络的组网成本。
A novel low-loss single-mode optical fiber with the double-parabolic refractive index distribution in the core is designed and developed in this paper.The refractive index distribution for the kind of optical fiber is controlled by adjusting the distribution of the doping material components in the silica optical fiber,which could reduce the Rayleigh scattering loss.The measurement results show that the single-mode optical fibers with this kind of wave-guide structure have premier attenuation performance.Their typical attenuation coefficients are 0.302dB/km,0.176dB/km,0.188dB/km at 1 310 nm,1 550 nm and 1 625 nm wavelength respectively.The key specifications of the optical fibers achieve the advanced level and the international standards.This kind of novel low-loss single-mode optical fiber can help the 100Gbit/s high-rate bone network system to raise communication capacity and decrease the construction cost for the optical network.
