摘要
在本雅明看来,灵晕、美的表象与美本质之间关系密切。他不仅认为美的表象寄身于灵晕,而且认为灵晕消散、美之逊位和美的表象的消解是同一现象。艺术作品之美,是在具有和谐整体的表象中显现自身的。'灵晕'是'真理之美'的显现,美的表象存身于'美的真理'敞开与遮蔽的争执之间。如此,真正的艺术将不可避免地表现为'谜语',而其根基是宗教性'神秘'。本雅明认为要把握艺术作品的表象之美,就要借助'救赎批评'。美的表象不是非生命的绝对理念的显现,而是蕴含着丰富生命力的事物,具有丰富的经验内涵。本雅明关于'美的表象'和'灵晕'的讨论,与其早期语言哲学和犹太神学观念密切相关。
In Benjamin’s view,aura and the semblance of beauty are closely related to the essence of beauty.He not only thinks that the semblance of beauty resides in the aura,but also thinks that the disappearance of aura,the abdication of beauty and the elimination of the semblance of beauty are the same phenomenon.'Aura'is the manifestation of'beauty of truth'.The semblance of beauty lies in the dispute between the openness and obscurity of the truth of beauty.In this way,the authentic art will inevitably be expressed as'riddles',and its foundation is religious'mystery'.In this way,Benjamin believes that to grasp the beauty of the artistic works,we need to resort to'redemptive criticism'.Benjamin’s discussion of'the semblance of beauty'and'aura'is closely related to his early philosophy of language and Jewish theology.
