This paper analyzes the grammatical function of the word "taη~2" in Zhuang language as a verb,apreposition and an adjective,and also elaborates the grammaticalization process of this Zhuang word as a prepositions and an adjective.It is believed that in a sentence of Zhuang language,the word "taη~2" serves as a predicate verb,as well as a preposition and an adjective.The latter use results from the grammaticalization of this verb,presenting a trajectory of grammaticalization like "verb→preposition→adjectives".
