The origin of Shaomai-Yin system was thought as Shao-fan .In my opnion,it's more likely originated from the Wergild in early Mongolian society.Shaomai-Yin system is used not only to punish the prisoner,but also compensate for the victims.As the first compensation system in Chinese history ,it has been having an effect on Chinese laws from then on.
