Unique Concern About Life ——On the Influence of Zen Culture on Fei Ming's Fiction Writing

现代作家中 ,废名是从心到形体悟禅宗的极少数人之一。他熔儒释道于一炉 ,对佛教禅宗精义以及儒家、道家等多种文化的体悟 ,都在不同程度上影响着他的人生哲学和文学创作。他的小说创作的两大阶段实质上是由他的佛禅思想逐渐演化发展这根无形之线相连接。他的小说的“神” ,即在不同时期、以不同形式对自然人性、现实人生和社会的关注与哲性思考 。

Among modern writers, Fei Ming is one of the few people who savor and realize Chan sect from heart to body. He mixed Ru, Shi and Tao together, and his realization on the essence of Chan sect, Ru, and Tao influenced to different extent on his philosophy of life and literary creation. The two phases of his novel creation were virtually joined together by such an invisible clue, i.e. his gradually developed thought on Chan sect. The 'spirit' of his novels, his paying attention to and philosophically thinking on natural human feeling, realistic life and society in different forms and during different periods, exists from the beginning till the end of his novel creation.
