摘要
詹姆士的实用主义真理观“真理就是有用 ,有用就是真理”不是一种简单的武断 ,而自有其一系列理论上的推演过程 ,包含着一定的唯物论和辩证法的合理因素。本文用马克思主义的基本观点从真理的实现过程、真理的人本主义基础和真理的利、真、善、美的统一三个新视角揭示了詹姆士的实用主义真理观的独创性 :①真理是证实的过程 ,通过实践效用来确定 ,反映了人和世界具体的实践关系 ;②真理具有价值性或人本主义意蕴 ;③真理是利、真、善。
William James's pragmatic theory of truth as'What is true works and What works is true'is not a simple arbitrary decision, but a series of deduction process of the pragmatic theory including certain reasonable factors of materialism and dialectic.This paper,using the basic standpoint of Marxism,reveals the originality of William James's pragmatic theory of truth from three new angles of view, namely the realization course of truth, the humanistic basis of truth and the unification of benefit,truth, good and beauty of truth.Truth reflects the concrete practical relation between the human and the world,it is a confirmed process shaped by practical effectiveness, truth possesses the nature of value or the meaning of humanism, and truth is an entity of benefit, truth, good and beauty.
