摘要
含钛矿石具有护炉作用,富钛沉积物的形成使炉底呈“锅底形”收缩状,这就正好填充和弥补了普通矿石冶炼炉底侵蚀呈“蒜头状”的环沟,因而对炉缸下部和炉底的保护是有益的。但是在炉缸中、上部,由于氧化性气氛的存在,这种沉积物是不能稳定存在的,护炉作用也就微乎其微。这就是含钛矿石护炉作用的局限性,如果不能正确认识这种局限性,即使长期冶炼钒钛磁铁矿的高炉,也会发生炉缸、炉底烧穿事故,从而给高炉生产造成损失。
The formation of Ti-rich sediment results in shrinkage of furnace bottom, looking like a pot-bottom, thus filling up and making up 'garlic' circular-notch which is formed by the erosion of the furnace bottom when the ordinary iron-ore is melted. However, at the middle-upper hearth, due to the effect of oxygenated gas, such a Ti-rich sediment can't be steadily existed, therefore its furnace-protective function is very little, this is its limitation . The trouble of hearth and bottom burning through would have happened and the blast-furnace production would have been affected even the vanadic ti-tanomagnetite is melted in the blast furnace for a long time if such a limitation has not been known.
