大理白族传统民间建筑门窗装饰艺术,是白族人民吸收借鉴内地传统民间建筑门窗装饰艺术的基础上,又进一步融入了其他民族门窗装饰艺术,结合白族民间建筑门窗装饰的材料、习俗、工艺等基础上,经过不断的演变,逐渐形成了民族特色鲜明、装饰工艺精湛、蕴含丰富文化内涵等特点的传统民间装饰艺术。
