After a successful trying on English vocabulary teaching without phonetic symbols,The author found that the vowel E is more active than the others.That is to say the letter E is the most high- frequency appearance in words compared with the other vowels.So it comes to the conclusion that it must be of great advantage to the memory of English words to master the form and pronunciation rules of the letter E in the word.
