开展创先争优话动,是党的建设的一项重要的经常性工作,也是对新的历史条件下党的建设基本规律的积极探索。切实把求真务实的特征和要求贯穿于创先争优活动始终,必将全面推动高校各基层党组织和广大党员立足本职工作,发挥先进模范作用,进一步开创党的建设的新局面,为推动科学发展提供坚实保证。作为加快建设和发展的重要契机和重要举措,高校应以创先争优活动和'五先进一满意'活动为栽体,把创先争优与办好人民满意的大学结合起来。贵州广播电视大学在这项活动中以办好贵州开放大学为目标,联系自身实际,做了有益的探索,并总结形成了相应经验。

The activity of competing for advancement and excellence is important and usual work in the Party construction,and also an active exploration under new historical conditions.The pragmatic characteristics and requirements throughout the said activity will surely be enhancing basic Party organizations,helping grass- roots Party organizations and members play an exemplary role and further create a new situation of party building;and providing a strong guarantee for promoting scientific development As an important initiative and important opportunity to speed up the construction and development of colleges and universities,along with the activity of competing for advancement and excellence and " Five Advancements and One Satisfaction" activity as a carrier,we should combine the activities with running the people’ s satisfactory universities.Guizhou Radio & TV University,taking the founding of Guizhou Open University as a target,has made the significant explorations and achieved some experience.
