摘要
利用频域有限差分法,应用各项异性完全匹配层,设计了不同结构的含CdS量子点薄膜的光子晶体光纤,通过求解麦克斯韦方程得到了相应的波导模本征方程,进而得到一个复数形式的传播常数和波导模有效折射率,并在此基础上分析了所设计光纤的色散及损耗特性.分析结果表明,含CdS量子点薄膜结构光子晶体光纤存在基模;增大孔间距和增大量子点薄膜厚度,零色散波长与最小损耗波长均发生红移;选择较小孔间距、较薄量子点薄膜结构和合适的光波长,会有效减小损耗.
With finite-difference frequency-domain method and anisotropic perfectly matched layer,different photonic crystal fibers with CdS quantum dots films were designed.The eigen equation of waveguide mode was obtained by solving Maxwell's equations,thereby the propagation constant in a plural form and the effective refractive index of the waveguide mode in a plural form were obtained.Finally,dispersion and loss characteristics of the designed optical fibers were analyzed.The analysis result shows that photonic crystal fibers with CdS quantum dots films exist the fundamental mode.If respectively increasing the air-hole pitch and the thickness of the quantum dots film,both zero-dispersion wavelength and minimum loss wavelength will show a red-shift.Moreover,if choosing a small air-hole pitch,a thin quantum dots film and a suitable light wavelength,it will effectively reduce the loss.
