摘要
针对现有四端口光环行器方案中存在结构复杂和不易组装调试的问题,提出了一种新的四端口光环行器结构方案.通过光路分析与计算,设计了一种改进型的Wollaston棱镜,并采用热扩芯双光纤准直器作为输入/输出端口.该光环行器结构简单,具有光路对称的特点,易于组装和调试.由于减少了元件数量并缩小了原有晶体元件的尺寸,器件尺寸更加紧凑.
According to the present proposals for a 4-port optical circulator are complicated and difficult for assembly,a novel structure of 4-port optical circulator was proposed.By analysis and calculation of optical path,a modified Wollaston prism was designed and thermally expanded core dual-fiber collimator was employed as the inputs/outputs.The structure of the optical circulator is simplified and characterized by symmetric optical path,which is facilitates assembly and alignment.The device is compact due to both the number and the size of the optical elements are reduced.
