‘湘育冰晶’的母本系由台湾‘特小凤’西瓜中选出的稳定纯合自交系 ,父本引自新疆。该品种果实近圆形 ,皮薄 ,肉质晶黄 ,细嫩无渣 ,熟性早 ,耐低温 ,抗性强 ,单瓜质量 1～ 1.5kg ,商品率高。

Xiangyu Bingjing'watermelon is a hybrid.Its female parent is selected by the pedigreed method from Taiwan'Texiaofeng'and the male parent is introduced from Xinjiang.It is characterized by crispy with good quality,early maturity,tolerance to low temperature,1-1.5kg of per fruit mass,round fruit with strip rind,thin skin,and higher marketable yield.
