This paper gives a thorough analysis and introduction of UDDI. The first part dedicates to the function and value of UDDI.Secondly, it has a relatively deep description of the architecture of UDDI service system, the structure of information model and the registered information model. An analysis of the open and reusable architecture of UDDI is also presented. The last part, through a case study, is about how to construct ,test and locate Web service by way of utilizing Java API under UDDI.
