摘要 在构建大规模视频服务系统时,视频服务器的性能如何非常关键,而接入控制(Admission Control)功能作为系统直接面对用户的前端,设计得如何对视频服务器的吞吐率、资源的利用率、客户感知的QoS水平等都有着极大的影响。在分布式视频服务系统中,通过采用有效的接入控制策略及对用户请求的调度,还可以实现多服务器间的负载平衡,从而提升整个系统的效率。该文针对分布式视频服务器系统,对接入控制问题进行了研究,分析了影响接入控制问题的一些因素,提出了一种确定型的分布式接入控制策略,它基于整个系统中的资源状况信息,最终实现确保用户的QoS和负载平衡等目标。 The performance of the video servers is critical in the construction of large-scale video service systems. As a front-end of video server, the design of admission control algorithms has great impact on the throughput of servers and resource utilization. In distributed video systems, through adopting effective admission control strategies and user request scheduling, the goal of load balance can also be achieved. This paper discusses the admission control problem of distributed video systems, presents a deterministic distributed admission control strategy. It is based on the information on the load and available resource of the whole system, and its goal is to assure the QoS of user service and load balance of the system.
