JIN PING MEI,the novel of ming dynasty,is the representative production of canal culture.The communication of the grant canal not only gave rise to the carrying of grain,but also promoted the circulation of cargoes in north and south.The basic necessities of life,the thought-transference and the rule of conduct of the people along the canal hed been greatly changed.JIN PING MEI is the real portraiture of this change.So.it can be think that.JIN PING MEL couldnt come into being without the grant canal.
