简述了国内外剪报服务的历史 ,论述了图书馆报纸信息开发在市场经济中的作用 ,提出了因地制宜、进一步做好剪报工作的措施 。

This paper briefly introduces the history of the internal and external tewspaper cutting service and discusses the function of the development of library newspaper information in market economy.Some measures to develop the the cutting service in the light of local conditions and the necessity of transition from the traditional newspaper cutting to electronic newspaper cutting are put forward in the paper.
