摘要
我国的拜伦研究从 2 0世纪初开始 ,到今天已经形成了百家争鸣、百花齐放的喜人局面。但是也还存在一些问题 :一、我国评论界对拜伦作品的研究基本上是停留在拜伦的名著上 ,研究面还比较窄 ;二、从“音韵学”、“诗律学”的角度 ,研究拜伦诗歌对英语语言的继承和发展方面几乎无人涉足 ;三、用现代“文艺创作心理学”、“叙事学”理论研究拜伦诗歌 ,还仅仅是一个开始。中外文化交流在我们刚刚加入WTO的今天显得尤为重要 ,对拜伦、济慈、雪莱等英语语系的著名作家进行更为深入的研究 。
The study of Byron in China started at the beginning of the 20th century. Now an exciting situation 'let a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend' has been formed. However, some problems can still be observed: (i) the study of Byron in China is restricted within a narrow sphere, with essentially a focus on some well known works by the great writer; (ii) almost no scholars have endeavored to study, from the angle of phonology and the tone and rhythm of poetry, Byron's contribution to the heritage and development of the English language; and (iii) there is only a beginning of the study on Byron with the theory on 'narration' and 'creative writing of psychology'. At the moment when China has entered WTO, the cultural exchanges between China and other countries in the world become more important than ever. A deeper study of the well known English writers such as Byron, Keats, and Shelley will definitely provide more materials for our English teaching and research.
