Definition of Higher Education Industrialization

关于高等教育产业化的争论存在不少似是而非的观点。文章认为 ,高等教育产业化的实质是运用现代产业发展机制和管理方式推进高等教育办学主体多元化、办学方向社会化和办学投入产出效益化的过程 ;高等教育产业化不同于商品化、市场化 ,不等于实行高收费和谋求高利润 ,推进高等教育产业化并不必然导致违背教育公平和教育规律。

There have been many paradoxical views on the debate of higher education industrialization. This paper opines that higher education industrialization is, in essence, a process of multiplying participants in running higher education by utilizing the development mechanism and management methods of modern industry, of socializing school running orientation, and of profiting from investment in school running. Contrary to commercialization and marketing, higher education industrialization is not equal to charging high tuition fees or seeking colossal profits, for the implementation of higher education industrialization does not necessarily lead to the violation of educational fairness and educational laws.
