本文就湘潭师范学院何高大老师的<现代教育技术与现代外语教学>一书进行介绍和评论.该书主要讨论了现代教育技术与现代外语教学的关系;多媒体辅助教学的理论、设计和课堂教学;以互联网和万维网为主的现代教育信息技术的理论及其在外语教学中的应用.本文肯定了作者对"正名"和"定位"的论述;讨论了此项研究的创新价值和学术价值;指出了作者能运用科学的辩证的思维,对前人的理论和成果进行系统的归纳,并提出对外来理论本土化和优化以适应国情的观点.

The paper offers an introduction and review on Modern Educational Technology and Foreign language Teaching and Learning by Mr. He Gaoda of Xiangtan Normal University. The book mainly discusses the relation between modern educational technology and foreign language teaching and learning, the theories of multimedia assisting instruction, teaching design and classroom teaching, and the theories and applications of modern educational information technology focusing on Internet and WWW in foreign language teaching. The paper affirmatively agrees with the author's view of 'definition' and 'placement' concerning modern educational technology, discusses the creative and academic value of the research, points out that the author, by manipulating scientific and dialectic way of thinking, does a good job in making a systematic summary of those predecessor's theories and findings, and puts forward views of localization and optimization of 'foreign' theories to adapt to the country's teaching environment.
