在我国高校的基础英语教学中 ,传统的翻译教学法和现今流行的交际教学法均有各自的合理性和局限性 ,不可偏废 ;将两者有机结合 ,取长补短 ,实行优势互补 ,才是上策。

In the teaching of foundation English in tertiary schools, traditional methods of translation teaching current ways of CECLE teaching both have their reasons and limits. Combine these two sides, complement each other is a better way.
