Separation of myocardiocytes from adult rat ventricular myocardium frozen by ultralow - temperature liquid nitrogen was introduced, and its mechanism was discussed preliminarily as well. The results indicate that this is a scientific and practical method, which is simple, inexpensive, taking less time and in no need of special apparatus. It is expected to be a basic technique for large-sample cardiological research.
