摘要
目的 探索迷走神经刺激控制癫痫的最佳刺激参数 .方法 在青霉素诱发的癫痫模型上 ,电刺激迷走神经以控制大鼠的癫痫发作 ,比较不同频率和不同时间序列电脉冲的迷走神经刺激对大鼠癫痫的抑制作用 .结果 迷走神经刺激可以抑制青霉素诱发的大鼠癫痫活动 .在 5~ 2 0Hz范围内 ,随迷走神经刺激频率的增高 ,迷走神经刺激对大鼠癫痫的抑制程度从 (6 8 3± 10 2 ) %增大到 (97 1± 19 5 ) % ,对癫痫的抑制时间从 (5 1 7± 2 5 )s增加到 (45 1 5± 4 8 2 )s (P <0 0 1) .不同时间序列的迷走神经刺激对大鼠癫痫的抑制作用是不同的 ,混沌的迷走神经刺激比周期的迷走神经刺激对癫痫的抑制程度大 ,分别是 (88 3± 2 8) %和 (72 4± 3 6 ) % ,(P <0 0 5 ) ,抑制时间也长 ,分别为 (2 4 3 3± 2 1 5 )s和 (15 3 4± 17 2 )s,(P <0 0 5 ) .结论 刺激电脉冲的时间序列是影响迷走神经刺激效果的重要参数之一 ,混沌的迷走神经刺激对大鼠癫痫的抑制作用比周期的迷走神经刺激的作用强 .
AIM To explore the optimal parameters of vagal nerve stimulation in controlling epilepsy. METHODS In epileptic model of rat induced by penicillin, vagal nerve was electrically stimulated to inhibit epileptic activity and the inhibiting effects of vagal nerve stimulation with different parameters were compared. RESULTS Vagal nerve stimulation could inhibit epileptic activity induced by penicillin. The inhibiting effect of vagal nerve stimulation on epilepsy increased from (68 3±10 2)% to (97 1±19 5)% ( P <0 01) as the stimulating frequency increased from 5 Hz to 20 Hz, inhibitiong time also increased frome (51 7±2 5)s to (451 5±48 2)s ( P <0 01) .Compared with periodic vagal never stimulation, chaotic vagal nerve stimulation produced greater (88 3±2 8)% and (72 4±3 6)%, ( P <0 05) and longer (243 3±21 5)s and (153 4±17 2)s, ( P <0 05) inhibiting effect on epilepsy. CONCLUSION Time series of electric pulse is one of the important parameters of vagal nerve stimulation. Chaotic vagal stimulation is more effective to inhibit epilepsy than periodic vagal stimulation.
