By applying documentation,investigation,mathematical statistics,stepwise regression,the author conduced follow up tests on the 100?m sprinters at the age from 15 to 17 in Shandong Province. Through researches on the relationship between 100?m record and step frequency and stride and through studies on the inherent laws of step frequency and stride with the external shape quota,this article puts forward the basic ideas of optimizing the shape model of the 15～17 year old 100?m sprinters. The purpose is to offer reference for raising the scientific level of the external shape selection of 100?m sprinters.
