A principle component analysis is used to make the comparison on the economic development,potentialities and degree of reform and open in municipal cities in Jiangsu.The synthesis strengths of the municipal cities are arranged in order.The comparative advantage and weakness of economic development of municipal cities are analyzed,and a serious of suggestion for future economic development is made.
