摘要 The Second mitochondrial-derived activator of caspase (Smac), a mitochondrial protein, plays an important role in inducing cell apoptosis by activating caspases. After receiving apoptotic signals, mitochondria releases cytochrome c to induce the formation of caspase-9 activating apoptosome and releases Smac to counteract the inhibitory activity of IAPs. Mature Smac binds to human IAP family members and relieves their inhibition of caspases. In this study, the human osteosarcoma cell line Saos-2 was used to establish the apoptosis model.
