This paper discusses the necessity and importance of strengthening English for science and technology (EST) teaching through analyzing the important impact of EST, and illustrates common mistakes due to neglecting EST study. The measures of strengthening EST teaching have been expounded, which can provide some references for improving EST teaching and enhancing students' applicable energy of English.
