Interpretation of Xin Qiji's Shi Er

辛弃疾才具文武,一世之雄。他的有关家事的“示儿”之作给我们自塑了一位深于爱、严于教、明于理的“父亲”的形象,从一个侧面透视出辛氏的人生情怀及其创作活动,并由此折射出中国文人齐家、治国、平天下的文化情结。

Xin Qiji was an ambitious man.He was adept with both pen and sword.Shi Er,a work about his family affairs, created an image of a father with deep love,strict family education,and sensible quality.It revealed Xin Qiji's life feelings and literary creating activities,and thus refracted the cultural traditions of the traditional Chinese literati's managing their fami- ly,government,and national affairs strictly and fairly.
