Quantities that need to be measured in gas fluidized bed systems include solids concentration and solids velocity. Measurement techniques are important to study the fluid mechanics of CFBs. Available measuring techniques of solids concentration and solids velocity in circulating fluidized bed riser are briefly reviewed in this studies. Moreover, their advantages and disadvantages of them are discussed.
