Metallophthalocyanines exhibit many interesting optical electric properties.It is important to encapsulate them in solid to make it useful and practical.We report here the study of Zinc tetrasulfo phthalocyanine (ZnTSPc) doped silica xgel matrix obtained by the sol gel technique.The composites are transparent and stable.The change of IR spectra and viscosity during the sol gel process coincident to demonstrate the chemical component and texture of the matrix.The pore structure of the micro environment in which ZnTSPc existed are deplored by means of pore analysis.
