关于21世纪高等外语(专业)教育的思考

A Ponder on the Higher Education of Foreign Languages in the 21st century

在理论和实践两个层面上对我国社会主义市场经济的特点、对外语人才需求的趋势及外语人才培养的自身规律进行了较为深入的探讨。指出:培养复合型、应用型外语人才是时代的呼唤、历史的必然。就复合型、应用型外语人才的培养模式、方法、计划与课程结构等问题提出了见解。

This paper is, in both theory and practice, to make a deep approach to the characteristics of our country's socialist market economy,the trend toward the needs for foreign languages talents and the law of cultivation of foreign languages talents and point out that: it is an epochal call and historical necessity to cultivate interdiscipline-type and application-type talents for foreign languages. Besides, the paper also puts forth some views as to the modes, ways and plans of cultivation, the framework of courses,etc.
