摘要
"言外之意"是指表达者所要表达的意思没有直接说出或其本身就无法直接用言语来表述,而通过暗示的方式作间接的传达。追求"言外之意"是贯穿中国传统文化的一个基本修辞观念,这与我们民族特定的传统思维及文化心理密切相关。
Illocution means the intention of the expresser that is not directly expressed or not narrated by speech per se.It is an indirect implication. Pursuing illocution is the basic rhetoric concept in Chinese traditional culture which is closely related to the traditional thinking and cultural mentality of Chinese.
