摘要
固定块大小的块截短编码器设计的灵活性受到很大限制,且编码器无法正确识别微小的边缘变化,造成许多有用信息的丢失;提出了一种自适应块规模的块截短编码方案;通过实验把该方案与非自适应的块截短编码进行了比较;结果表明:该算法对提高恢复图的边缘质量有很大改进,取得比BTC编码器好得多的结果.
In fixed module block truncating coding design, there are many constrains of designing flexibility, and the coder cannot detect the variation of the edges, thus a great deal of useful information is lost.This paper brings forward an adaptive method--AMBTC(Adaptive Module Block Truncating Coding). By contrast with the BTC(Block Truncating Coding), the result behind will prove that there is an improvement in promoting quality of recovered image's edges. Although there is much loss in source compression rate, this scheme can also achieve better performance than BTC algorithm.
