Synthesis of 4-Hydroxybiphenyl-4′-Carbonitrile

摘要 以4 羟基联苯为原料,经酰化、氨解、脱水三步反应合成了液晶材料重要中间体4 羟基 4' 氰基联苯,总收率达51.8%。其结构经核磁共振、质谱、红外光谱等确证,HPLC含量在99%以上。 4hydroxybiphenyl4′carbonitrile was prepared through 3 steps:FriedelCraft regioselective acylation of 4hydroxybiphenyl, the corresponding carboxamide by ammonia, and dehydration with thionyl chloride.The total yield is 51.8%. The structure was confirmed by IR , 1H NMR and mass spectra.
