摘要
为了弄清人类如何学习第二语言这一问题,研究者从不同的角度提出了许多不同的语言学习理论模式,解释人类如何学习语言和开发语言能力。这些模式各有其长处和缺陷。本文着重评论了哈金森和沃特斯所提学习模式的特点和存在的问题及其对语言教学的指导意义。
To address the question about how people learn a second language, researchers from different disciplinary background have proposed a dozen of models accounting the way learners process or develop language. Different models have their own strength and weakness. This paper tries to make some comments in this regard on the learning model proposed by Hutchinson and Waters and examines its pedagogical significance in language learning and teaching.
