Social Problems Caused by the Internet and Social Control

网络技术的发展在一个全新的基础上重塑了人类文明,使人类社会进入一个新时代——网络社会时代。但网络技术是把双刃剑,它给人类带来福祉的同时也给人类社会的政治、经济和文化生活等各个方面带来冲击。网络社会问题由此产生,并对道德、法律等传统社会控制手段提出了严峻的挑战,对民族文化、个人控制以及国家主权形成了巨大冲击。由于网络社会具有不同于传统社会社会控制的特点,要求我们对挑战积极回应,建立适应网络社会的新的社会控制机制。

The network technology has added a new leaf to the human civilization. But it is, like a coin, has two sides. It brings us blessings and problems as well. These problems which challenge many aspects of the society cannot be ignored. As the net community is quite different from the traditional one, special treatment is needed in establishing a control system.
