摘要
A simple soilless cultural column was composed of columnar wall, columnar body and culture medium. The columnar wall was a chemical material woven with polypropyrene synthetic fibre. The columnar body consisted of a water pipe of 200 cm long and 2 cm in the diameter and 12 circular spacers of 15 cm wide with central circular hole of 2 cm in diameter, which could allow the former water pipe go through to constitute the columnar body. There were many small holes in the spaces so water (nutrient solution) in the column could leak freely from the top of the column. The urea-formaldehyde plastic pieces were used as cultural medium after they were filled into the interval between two spacers on the column. 284 columns (200 cm in height, 15 cm in diameter) were contacted and paralleled to form a "woods" cultural unit (A= 160 m 2 ) for culturing tomato(Lycopersicum Mill) and lettuce(Capitata L.).
