Research into the Epitaph of the ZHENG Ju-zhong Couple in the Tang Dynasty

墓志记载中晚唐中层官吏郑居中一生所经历事件和结交的上层官僚 ,以及妻族崔氏、儿女亲家等 ,或见于文献记载。郑居中童年一度入观学道 ,晚年寻道访宫于王屋、嵩少 ,终卒山寺。其事迹演绎为《逸史》道仙故事 ,墓志为其文学素材。

The epitaph records the events that ZHENG Ju zhong had experienced in his life, the upper officials whom he had got acquainted, and his wife, lady CUI, and his childrens parents in law. ZHENG Ju zhong entered the temple to study Taoism when he was young. And in his later years, he visited Wangwu Mountain, Songshan Mountain and Shaolinsi temple and died in a temple as well. His experiences become a story in 'The Book of Unofficial History', of which the epitaph is the material.
