也谈现代汉语的“主宾互易句”——与陈平先生商榷

On the Pattern of Subject-Object Exchanging Sentences in Chinese -- to Discuss with Mr. CHEN Ping

“主宾互易句”一般认为是“主语—宾语”的互易现象。陈平曾在Dowty的原型角色理论基础上对此作出过解释。然而他使用的“主语”概念内部有矛盾 ,不能解释汉语复杂多样的主宾互易现象。事实上 ,“主宾互易句”并非是“主语—宾语”的互易现象 ,而是“主题—宾语”的互易现象。

The pattern of subject object exchanging sentences is the specific characteristic of Modern Chinese, which is interpreted by CHEN Ping on the basis of Proto Role theory of DOWTY. However, there are some deficiencies in CHEN Pings thesis. The first is that the concept of 'subject' is inconsistent; the second is that many phenomena cant be explained by his theory. The pattern of subject object exchanging sentences is essentially the pattern of topic object exchanging sentences.
