摘要
《俄狄浦斯王》是典型的古希腊命运悲剧 ,在这出悲剧中 ,人的一切努力或抗争都成为徒劳 ,生命也因此成为一种幻觉。不能因此认为它的全部价值都在于表现生命的幻觉和抗争的徒劳。俄狄浦斯的抗争 ,其更深意义和更高价值是升华了俄狄浦斯的思想境界和整个悲剧的崇高精神。
OEDIPUS TYRANNUS is a typical Greek fate tragedy.In this play,whatever the people do, it is in vain and so life turns into an illusion.However,we cannot hold the view that all the value of this play is just to express the illusion of life and the futility of resistance.The further significance and value of Oedipus'resistance sublimate Oedipus's realm of thought and the spirits of the whole tragedy.
