摘要
追求自由是人的天性 ,但直到近代 ,西语“自由”的概念才被严复首先引入中国并具有了“中国式”的内涵。但总的来说 ,他比较准确地传递了西语“自由”的基本精神。
Pursuing liberty is human nature. But until mordern time, the concept of 'liberty' was translated by YAN Fu from west world. Although in YAN Fu's thought, the word 'liberty' obtained 'chinese implication'. On the whole, YAN Fu expressed the basic spirit of liberty exactly.
