文化差异是语言教学以及翻译过程中被普遍重视的问题 ;语用学研究的对象是特定情景中的特定话语以及如何通过语境来理解和使用语言。从英汉两种不同文化的差异入手 ,提出用语用意义指导翻译 ,从而实现动态对等。词语、习语和文学色彩三个不同方面的实例 ,不仅展示了英汉民族之间的文化差异 。

Cultural difference is of great importance in language teaching and translation.And pragmatics studies discourses in specific situations,as well as the understanding and use of language according to its context.This article points out that there are differences between Chinese and English culture,and that pragmatic meaning should be taken into consideration in translation in order to achieve dynamic equivalence.Examples of words,idioms and literary flavor show clearly the differences of the two peoples and the importance of pragmatic translation.
