白居易的《游悟真寺诗》记述了“写经僧”即法诚的事迹以及“舌根不坏”的灵异传说 ,反映了唐代群众性《法华》

BAI Ju yi’s poem Visitig the Wu Zhen Buddhist Monastery told about the deeds of the “Buddhist Scripture writing monk” i.e. Fa Cheng and about the mysterious tales of the “never rot tongue”. The poem reflected the high degree of the Saddharmapundarika (Fa Hua Jing) obsession of the mass in Tang Dynasty and some religious thoughts of the writer himself.
