Approaches in Teaching Spoken English for Non-English Majors at College

在英语教学中 ,英语口语教学占有极其重要的地位。在引导学生学习口语的过程中 ,应把语音、模仿和朗读有机的结合起来。具体实践方法为问答练习、复述故事、描述图画、角色练习、分组讨论、英语演讲、辩论比赛。

Teaching spoken English is extremely important in English Language teaching.The author,combined with phonetics,imitation and reading aloud,presents the practical ways to improve spoken English of non—English majors at college.The approaches are as the follows:asking and answering;story-retelling;picture description;role play;group discussion;speech;debate and interpretation.
