Improvement of behavior to meet the challenges of WTO

面对入世的新机遇、新挑战,我们要教育培育广大党员干部不断提高按市场经济规律、教育规律和国际通行规则办学的素质和能力。当前必须按照“三个代表”的要求,深刻认识我国高等教育的任务和使命,在抓好思想作风建设、密切联系群众、建立健全各项规章制度、廉政建设和干部生活作风建设等方面全面推进高校党的作风建设。

After the participation of China in WTO, we are confronted with new opportunities and challenges. It is necessary for us to require that all party members and cadres improve their qualities and capabilities for running the school on the basis of the laws of marketing economy and education, and current international regulations. According to the requirements of 'three representatives', we should recognize profoundly the tasks and missions of China's higher education at present. We must advance the party's consturction of behavior from many aspects, such as stressing ideological construction of behavior, closely connecting with the masses, establishing and improving various regulations and systems, construction of incorruptness poltics, and construction of the cadres' life style.
