党与时代同步伐首要的是思想理论时代化

To Keep Pace with the Times,the First Importance is to Make Ideological Theory Contemporary

中国共产党要做到与时代发展同步伐、与人民群众共命运 ,就必然要求率先实现党的自身建设的现代化。首先就要做到思想理论时代化 ,并用思想理论时代化的最新成果、党的指导思想——“三个代表”重要思想全面推进党的现代化建设。

The Communist Party should keep pace with the times and share a common fate with the people while the Party leads people to build a 'well off society' all over the country, and create a new prospect of Chinese characteristics and speed up achieving socialist modernizations in the new century. Meanwhile, the Party is required to achieve the modernization of the Party's self construction first. However, to achieve the modernization of the Party's self construction, the first importance is to make ideological theory contemporary, and use the newest achievements in ideological theory--the Party's guiding ideology 'Three Representives' to promote the construction of modernization of the Party thoroughly.
