On the Prospect of Human Cloning Based on Ethical Consideration

从理论上甚至技术上讲,“克隆”人是可能作到的,但由于人们对其出现后可能的负面影响与效果过分关注,引起许多学者的担忧与反对。一些国家的政府也直接出面干预,限制或禁止克隆人的研究,使克隆人的出现成为一个悬念。但二十一世纪将是生命科学飞速发展的阶段,在许多研究领域可能出现重大突破。随着克隆技术的进一步完善与成熟,随着人们观念的转变以及与此相关的伦理学、社会学、法学等领域内的研究进展,人类将能够控制甚至消除其负面的影响与效果,尤其是考虑到克隆人的成功所具有的巨大科学价值,克隆人在不远的未来终将出现,实现人类“复制”自身的梦想。

Human cloning has been feasible theoretically and technologically, but the issue arouses more concern of scholars on its possible negative outcome. Some governments even put strict limitations on the research of human cloning. However,in 21st century the science of life is expected to undergo great progress and witness plenty of breakthroughs in various fields. The author believes that with the improvement of cloning technology people ma find ways to put the negative effects of human cloning into control. The development made in the sciences such as ethics, sociology and the science of law will help people fulfill the dream of self - reproduction in the near future.
