摘要
空间数据的应用随着因特网技术的普及越来越广泛,普遍应用于资源管理与优化配置、环境评价与保护、人口、交通、规划等与区域经济可持续发展有关的决策之中。对于空间数据的管理者、用户等而言,如何合理地使用空间数据,从中挖掘和发现新知识,使决策结果更加科学、合理、可靠,已经成为地理信息产业界和学术界日趋关心的焦点问题。空间数据元数据是解决这一问题的关键技术之一。本文对空间数据元数据从理论上进行了探讨,并以矿产资源勘查评价过程中的数字地质图空间数据元数据为例,建立了数字地质图核心元数据示范标准,在实际应用中取得了良好的效果。
With the development and permeation of Internet techniques, spatial data has a more wide application for resources management and their optimizing collocation, environmental evaluation and protection, population, traffic, planning and so on, which are regarding as important factors for a regional sustainable development. How to manage and use the spatial data rationally for custodians and users become a topic issue in the academic field and industry of Geographic Information Systems in order to mine and discover new information from them for decision making much more scientific, reliable, and rational. Spatial Metadata is one of key techniques for its resolution. In the paper, spatial metadata is discussed on the exoterica. Especially to make the spatial metadata of digital geological maps as an instance in the mineral resources exploration and prediction, a demonstrative standard for the core metadata of digital geological maps is developed. And its use in the practice shows a good result.
