网络环境下高校图书馆的有偿服务

Paid Service Offered by the Libraries in Colleges and Universities Under the Network Ervironment

长期以来,对于高校图书馆开展有偿服务具有较多的争议,本文认为高校图书馆开展有偿服务对促进图书馆的工作具有一定的积极意义。同时指出了在传统条件下开展有偿服务的局限,在网络环境下有偿服务的优势,以及应注意的几个问题。

There has long been much controversy over the pai d service offered by the libraries in colleges and uni-versities.This article co nsiders that offering paid service between university libraries can play a posit ive role in pro-moting the library work and simultaneously pointed out the lim itations under the traditional condition and the ad-vantages under the network environment to begin paid service.The last part of this article identifies som e problems worth noticing in the process of offering paid service.
